Medali Perunggu SASMO 2017

Created in 2006, SASMO is one of the largest Math Olympiads in the Asian region.  It has expanded the competition to provide an International platform for students from Grade 2 (Primary 2) to Grade 10 (Secondary 4), with differentiated contest papers for every level.

SASMO turns 11 years old this year.  Indonesia has been a big part of SASMO’s success and most  supportive country .  Next year is SASMO’s 10^th anniversary in Indonesia and we will present a special memorabilia for all participants.

Heartiest congratulations to all SASMO 2017 winners from Indonesia! Your hard work and perseverance has earned the well deserved awards.

More than 3000 students from Indonesia took part in SASMO 2017, making SASMO one of the largest and the most prestigious math competitions in Indonesia. 8 Indonesian students achieved the amazing result, Perfect Score, ranking Indonesia the second after Philippines (9 Perfect Scorers) in terms of the number of Perfect Scorers in SASMO 2017. We are very proud!!!

We  keep improving our service to Indonesian students and teachers by partnering directly with 13 exclusive SASMO Region Partners (SRPs) across Indonesia.  Our SRPs are collectively known as SASMO Indonesia.  We would like to thank all SRPs for organising SASMO 2017 and making it great success.

i-RYSCE 2017

International RMC Young Scientists Conference & Exhibition (i-RYSCE) . This is the first I-RYSCE  and it will be an annual event for Malaysia Young Scientists Organisation. The 1st i-RYSCE will be host by the Royal Military College (RMC) in collaboration with National Defence University Malaysia (NDUM). The event will take place from July 10 till July 15 2017.

In this conference, students aged 19 and below will present their individual research projects. These projects will be divided within the fields of mathematics, computer sciences, physics, life sciences, and environmental sciences. In Oral  competition, the student’s presentation will be judged by international and local jury. The presentation time should not exceed 15 minutes followed by a short discussion. The presentation and promising project will be awarded. Further, students are encouraged to bring their products or prototypes along with their posters to exhibit to the public. The best exhibitors will also be awarded.

In this conference, students will also be exposed to excursions. The students will be exposed to some military basics in survival techniques. They will be taught how to cook army rations, looking for herbs, examples of tents in jungles and so on. There will also be light obstacle run and kayak organised by trained army personnel’s. Country representative and guide teachers are welcome to the excursion activities.
